Assignment Two

The Cave of Trees: Two cherry blossom trees were cut out of a photograph and placed inside the caves.

Guarding the Gift From Japan: The soldier on duty from the photograph of the tomb of the unknown soldier was cut out and placed into the photograph. The soldier was then copied four times and the sizes of the additional soldiers were then altered to create a tiered size effect.

When Hell Invades the House of God: The red burst of fireworks were removed from its original picture and then put into the photograph of the stained glass three times. The excess black was cut out and the three bursts were aligned together diagonally. The bursts were then given a transparent effect to give the photograph more dimension.
